This a fantastic summery read. It has contemporary and historical fiction meshed together with some fun suspense and a bit of romance.
 2. Stranded by Dani Pettrey
Really, this who series should be in your beach bag. They are fun and suspenseful and there are amazing characters.
3. A Talent for Trouble by Jen Turano
This is such a light and fun read. If you love to laugh, this author is for you.
4. Dancing with Fireflies by Denise Hunter
Another great summer setting. The story is beautiful.
5. Silenced by Dani Pettrey
Again, read the whole series! :-)
6. Meant to Be Mine by Becky Wade
A perfect summer set story again filled with humor and sass.
The writing is beautiful and will sweep you away!
8. Dear Mr. Knightley by Katherine Reay
This is a book lovers book! This is another story that will capture you.
9. Allegiant by Veronica Roth
I need to finish this series! I already know the ending, because...I love spoilers. :-)
10. Written In My Own Heart's Blood by Diana Gabaldon
I've been waiting 5 years for this book...it will be the first book in my bag!


Such a fun topic! And I have to say, many of these authors have series, which is jst fabulous and ups the amount of books available to read for summer.

  2. Great picks! I haven't heard of most of these, except Allegiant. I loved the first two books in the series though I haven't read the last one yet because I've heard so many spoilers for it! Hopefully I'll get around to reading it sometime though.
