Oh, my goodness! We are just a few short days away from the start of 2019. 2018 is a year personally has been a bit of beating, but reading has been phenomenal.
I'm anxious to see what 2019 has to bring. I already know there are so many fabulous new releases coming out soon.
With New Years Eve on a Monday, I thought today would be a great day to look back on some my favorite books of 2018. There has been some amazing books that I read and looking back made me remember them very fondly.
Without further ado, here are some of my favorites of 2018.
Series:
I finished 2 series this year and they were both fabulous in their own way.
Apart From the Crowd
by Jen Turano
The Orphan Train
by Jody Hedlund
Historical Fiction:
Historical fiction is my go to genre. I love all the different background settings that can be spotlighted. There can be the more well known historical backgrounds, but I love the less known.
I actually read The Belmont Mansion series this year, backwards, so I figured it would be best to spotlight the first of this fabulous series.

Biblical Fiction:
Biblical fiction is a setting I'm very picky about, but when done right, it shines! Several of my favorite authors had new releases this past year and they were fabulous!
by Connilyn Cossette
by Mesu Andrews (Novella)
by Tessa Afshar

YA:
I love a good Young Adult books. I usually am drawn to the supernatural/fantasy/dystopian. They are fun, well thought out and well written.
I didn't read much this past year, but what I did read I enjoyed.
by Morgan L. Busse
These are just a few of the fabulous books from this year that have really popped for me. I will be featuring a few more this coming Tuesday for Top Ten Tuesday.
Two days I think is a good amount of time to spotlight some amazing books.
What have been some books on your favorite list for 2018?
