 Books From My Favorite Genre

I have never hidden the fact that I love Historical Fiction.
It is absolutely one of my favorite genre's to read.
It is what got me into reading.
I read Little House, all the Louisa May Alcott books, Charlotte Bronte and it morphed into historical fiction. Those times in history have just been so much fun to travel back to.

Without further ado, here are some of my favorite historical fiction books.
(You can click on the covers for more information on the titles.)

 Widow of Gettysburg
by Jocelyn Green

Against the Tide
by Elizabeth Camden

The Doctor's Lady
by Jody Hedlund

 The Hatmaker's Heart
by Carla Stewart

The Sentinels of Andersonville
by Tracy Groot

Born of Persuasion
by Jessica Dotta

Counted with the Stars
by Connilyn Cossette

The Accidental Empress
by Allison Pataki

The Pharaoh's Daughter
by Mesu Andrews

 The Pursuit of Tamsen Littlejohn
by Lori Benton

In the Shadow of Crogt Towers
by Abigail Wilson

Courting Morrow Little
by Laura Frantz

I could re-read these books over and over again. They are all just fabulous reads!
What is your favorite genre? And what are your top ten in that genre?

  1. I adore the cover for The Pharaoh's Daughter. Gorgeous!

  2. Ooh...all of these look really good. I've been trying to read more historical fiction this year, so I'm glad to have more books to add to my reading list. :)

  3. I've enjoyed some of Jody Hedlund books. The Accidental Empress is still unfinished though after 3 or more years. Not sure why I'm not succeeding with it. Good list!
