Top Ten Tuesday: Book Cover Art

May 6, 2014

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week features a book related topic that allows you to spotlight your Top Ten.

Topic:
Top Ten Book Covers I Would Frame

Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
I love this cover. The simple black and white and the whimsical drawings make this such a fun cover to show off.

 Les Miserable by Victor Hugo
It's such a simple cover and it's different then a young Collete on the front. This portrays a hope that burns.

Emma by Jane Austen
It's just elegant.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
I love how the Mockingjay is the main focus. It is bold and pops.

Little Woman by Louisa May Alcott
All the wonderful parts of the book are highlighted! I would hang this up in a heartbeat.

Dear Mr. Knightley by Katherine Reay
The colors and the simplicity is amazing.

Against the Tide by Elizabeth Camden
The colors are just beautiful. It captures your attention.

Return To Me by Lynn Austin
The sunrise is fabulous.

I don't have a full top ten this week, but each of these I would love to hang up as art.

  1. Cool! Love that you went with lots of classics, Kate. That Pride and Prejudice design IS gorgeous - I forgot about the line of classics that are watercolors. Should have used those on mine. :)

  5. Such good choices, Kate. There's something special, unique, and very beautiful about the cover for ''Les Misérables'' (the designs surrounding the candle!!). Recently did a project on Hugo. Will hopefully read it one day!
