Top Ten Tuesday: Hidden Gems

September 11, 2018

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Artsy Read Girl.
Each week features a book related topic to spotlight your Top Ten.
Hidden Gems
Today is all about the books that are the hidden gems, they either didn't get a lot of press or they were just the quiet books that just really popped!
I have discovered so many of these hidden gems. I love books that aren't massively talked about. It's like my own little discovered treasure. But it won't be just mine alone for long....I always love to share about amazing books I've found. :-)

All My Belongings by Cynthia Ruchti
This was a story that dealt with a lot of personal issues. It was a very quiet but deep story.
A Bouquet of Love by Janice Thompson
This was a fun and sweet story.
 The Thief by Stephanie Landsem
This was a very moving and thought provoking Biblical fiction
Be Still My Soul by Joanne Bischof
This was an emotional gut punch. The whole series was really. Nail bitter!
The Hatmaker's Heart by Carla Stewart
This was a very unique story, set during an interesting time. Think, The King's Speech.
A Light on the Hill by Connilyn Cossette
This was an amazing story. Dealing with deformities and the harsh reality of the people around and grace.
 Honor's Reward by Kristen Heitzmann
This is an older series. I loved this series and the story. I loved the last book the most. I heard that the author is redoing this series and I honestly can't wait to read it!
The Dandelion Field by Kathryn Springer
This was such a real and gritty story. It was set in a small town, but the issues surrounding the story is one that happens in all towns.
Catching the Wind by Melanie Dobson
This was a fantastic duel history mystery. The audio was phenomenal.
The Promise by Beth Wiseman
The fact that this was based on a true story just makes it all the more intense.

What are your hidden gems?
Are the new releases?

  1. I haven’t heard of these books, but I love that you took photos of them. I’m a horrible photographer.
