Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This weeks feature is the top ten favorite books you've read this year. So far, I've read 28 books this year, that's almost a 1/3 of all the books I've read....and it's safe to say, I've found quite a few books this year that have joined the ranks of favorites. It was tough to narrow it down to ten, but I did. They vary in genre.
Biography:
Happy, Happy, Happy: My Life and Legacy as the Duck Commander by Phil Robertson w/ Mark Schlabach
YA:
The Healer's Apprentice by Melanie Dickerson
Waterfall & Cascade by Lisa T. Bergren
Historical Fiction:
Day of War & Covenant of War by Cliff Graham
Love's Reckoning by Laura Frantz
Love Amid the Ashes by Mesu Andrews
Fiction:
Love Saves the Day by Gwen Cooper

I've had The Healer's Apprentice on my shelf for a couple years now, but I've yet to pick it up and read it. I'm so glad to see it on your list because that might just be the push I need! Great list this week :)
ReplyDeleteI'm your newest follower.
I really enjoyed The Healer's Apprentice. It was light read, but keeps you hooked into the story. It's a good book for summer I think.
DeleteThanks! I followed you back on Bloglovin'.
Ooh, a list with books that I haven't seen or heard of before! I love historical fiction so I'm off to check those out! :)

I love the cat on Love Saves the Day. The cover fits the story well. :-)
DeleteThanks for sharing you TTT and for stopping by!
I've really been wanting to read The King's Speech since I saw the film, I've been hearing such great things!
ReplyDeleteI highly recommended it! There is so much that the film couldn't portray and things were changed up for dramatic reasons. It was interesting to read what Lionel Logue wrote about in his journals.
DeleteThe Waterfall series books are some of my absolute favorite books that I've read. Don't know why really...I just think they are fabulous. Love to see them on other people's list.
ReplyDeleteI have loved the first two I've read, I can't wait to read the next two! They are just fun and the fast pace is great. I didn't know much about them till a couple of months ago.

I think she is writing a fifth one too to give closer. Can't wait. This makes me want to reread them. They are a great pace and the characters are fun to relate too. (I think I am just a major fungirl of this series).
DeleteYes, she is! Deluge. I saw that a couple of weeks ago. I don't know if I remember correctly, but I saw September mentioned, I just don't know if it was this coming September or next. They are fun books. The characters are great. I see nothing wrong with being a fangirl at all for this series. :-)
DeleteThanks for stopping by. Leave a word, leave a line, I would love to hear what you have to say.
