Kid Favorite Friday

June 7, 2013

I decided to start a new feature to the blog on Fridays...Kid Favorite. My little girl is learning to read right now and she loves to be read to. So, every Friday, I'm going to list her top favorite reads from the week...they are usually going to be the ones that have been read to her, since the ones she can read are Mat sat on a hat. :-)

So, without further ado...Kid Favorite Friday!

Frog and Toad by Arnold Lobel
Oh, how my little girl loves the adventures of these two friends. This is usually her top pick to read during school. They are fun, short little stories with silly antics that can be enjoyed by all.

The Berenstain Bears and the Spooky Old Tree by Stan & Jan Berenstain
I loved the Berenstain Bears as a kid and now my little girl is getting into them. She read this classic yesterday and loved it! It's a fun read for everyone.

The Beginner's Bible: Timeless Children's Stories Illustrated by Kelly Pulley
This has become a staple for bedtime stories. It's a wonderful way to introduce the Bible in a little more kid friendly way. It's broken down into stories and some of the bigger stories are broken down a little more. It's an easy read and the pictures are a lot of fun.
